The statuette which has been presented to the winner of the GOLDEN ROSE Award since 1994 has a 20-year-old history. In 1994, the sculptor Vezhdi Rashidov made his first original sculptures which shone with the glow of the polished alloy. In the following years, the artist continued to work on his composition, introducing new elements and thus making each award “batch” unique and special. Each statuette is cast by hand, following the centuries-old classic technology for bronze casting. After the removal of the plaster shell, the sculptures are chased, fine-finished and patinated.
